  1. Is there a way to to have a minimum cart subtotal before delivey is allowed. I sell balloons.
    pickup any amount. Delivery needs a minimum of $25

      That’s possible in WooCommerce itself. In WooCommerce > Settings > Shipping section, you can set shipping methods i.e Delivery and Pickup, and set Minimum Card amount for Delivery. As you can see in this screenshot – https://prnt.sc/jTwfddwUFmp1 This will allow you to schedule a delivery only after the minimum cart amount is reached.
      Moreover, our Order Delivery Date PRO for WooCommerce plugin has an option for scheduling custom delivery settings for Delivery and Pickup option.

  2. Is it possible to set a standard pickup rule (for example exactly 4 weeks after the order delivery date)?
    So our customers can’t choose the pickup date themselves, but I do want the checkout page and the order received e-mail to show when the pickup date is going to be.

    1. Hi Jeffrey,

      Yes, we have implemented an option in the Pickup Date Add-on to set the number of hours after which the First Pickup day should be available for selection from the selected delivery date.

      So, if you have selected today’s date as the delivery date and if this option is set to 672 hours then the customers will be able to select the Pickup date 4 weeks from today. Also, you can enable the Auto-Populate date option so that the first available pickup date will be auto-populated and the customers will not have to select it manually.

      We will release this feature in the next update of the Pickup date add-on but once you purchase the plugin you can email us and we will send over the updated plugin which has this feature.

    Your system looks really good and I love the delivery calendar feature. Pre sales questions:

    1. I would like to purchase this plugin and I need both the delivery and the pickup options. (I understand I will also need the pickup plugin). However, to avoid customer confusion is there a way to hide one option (for example delivery) when customers select pickup?
    2. Also, is it possible to set delivery restrictions under certain conditions? (Hide delivery, show pickup)
    Example 1: Hide the delivery option when customers don’t meet the required order amount (let’s say $500) and only display pickup.
    Example 2: Hide the delivery option when customer’s location is outside our delivery zone and only display the
    pickup option. I have set these restrictions in woocommerce but I would like to know if your system will work accordingly. (Show/hide pickup or delivery depending on conditions)

    We are caterers and the above are super important to us, hence i would like to know if these are possible.

      We have made Pickup Date addon compatible with latest version of Order Delivery Date plugin and it is being tested currently. Most probably it will be released by tomorrow.

      If you want to allow the customers to select Pickup Date and Time along with Delivery Date and time then I will recommend you use Pickup Date addon with Order Delivery Date PRO plugin.

  5. Will this automatically pull the start and end dates from a booking through your booking plugin? I would like my customers to select their booking start and end dates and use this plugin to have them select delivery and retrieval times for those dates. Is this possible?

    1. It won’t do that automatically. We will need to make some changes in the code for that. We can customize that for you for a fee.

      1. Do the available dates and times provide real time availability? Say a delivery block of time was already booked for a giving day, would this show as unavailable for future customers? And can this automatically populate a calendar?

        1. Yes, available dates & times do become unavailable based on the maximum possible deliveries set. So if you set it to 1, then that date & time will be unavailable for future customers. Those dates will automatically be unavailable in the delivery calendar for other customers.

    I can utilize this plugin but can the pickup and delivery date be switched around.
    So the pickup calendar is on top?

      Currently it is not possible to switch the pickup calendar to be on top. But that can be done with a small modification once you’ve purchased the plugin. This addon works with the Order Delivery Date Pro plugin, so you will need to purchase that one & this addon together.

  8. Hello, I have a product rental business and was wondering if there is a way to change the price of the product based on the duration between the delivery date and the pick-up date? Example would be the product price increases for each week the customer has between delivery and pick-up.

      Thank you for explaining your requirement in detail with an example.

      Currently, the mentioned requirement is not possible to achieve from our plugin where the product price increases based on the gap between the Delivery Date and the Pickup Date.

      Only the settings which are set in the core Order Delivery Date Pro for WooCommerce for Delivery date field will be reflected on the Pickup Date field from the Pickup Date addon.

      However, the Delivery Date from the Order Delivery Date plugin is selected for the whole order on the checkout page or on the cart page and not for the individual products.

    I’m looking at this add-on for a restaurant catering site I’m developing (client already has ODD pro license). I have a couple concerns…

    Displaying both the Pickup date AND the Delivery date on the checkout page after the customer has chosen a Pickup date is going to lead to confusion and uncertainty. There should be a conditional that allows the client to choose one or the other method, e.g.

    Is this order for Pickup or Delivery?
    [ ] Pickup
    [ ] Delivery
    (Display the date picker for chosen method)

    I have the same concern about the way it’s handled on the backend. The restaurant staff responsible for managing orders is going to see both the Pickup date and the Delivery date on every order. That’s going to be very confusing. I looked at your screenshots and can’t tell whether an order is for Pickup or Delivery, because the order details display both.

    For me to recommend this add-on to my client, it needs to be clear on both the front-end and back-end whether the order is for Pickup or Delivery. Please let me know if/when you make any modifications. We’d like to use it.

      From my understanding, you want to set different delivery settings for different shipping methods.

      If yes, then you can achieve this requirement by setting different delivery settings for different shipping methods under the Custom Delivery Settings tab and no need to use this addon.

      This addon allows to add pickup date & time fields along with delivery date & time on the checkout page and not show only single fields depending upon the shipping method.

      You can follow the below post to setup the different delivery settings for different shipping methods added to the WooCommerce shipping zones.

      1. Hi Komal. Thanks for the reply, but that’s not what I meant.

        My client has a catering business. Some of her customers pick up their orders at the restaurant. Other customers have their orders delivered. We need to give the option of either Pickup OR Delivery on the checkout page. On your demo, the checkout page displays (and requires) BOTH a Delivery Date and Time, AND a Pickup Date and Time.         I believe there needs to be some additional logic on the checkout page when using the Pickup Date Add-on so that the customer chooses (via radio button) either Pickup or Delivery. Only then should the date and time options appear. I hope that makes sense. Seeing date and time options for both methods on the checkout is going to confuse people.

        This also needs to be clear in the Admin. The people handling the orders should be able to view and sort orders that are for pickup or delivery. Currently, the admin shows both a Delivery Date and a Pickup Date. That’s really going to confuse the restaurant staff.           Thank you for sharing the screenshots with us.

          In order to achieve your business requirement which is to show the settings based on the selected shipping method (Pickup or Delivery) in the Your order table in the calendar on the checkout page.

          This can be achieved by using only the core plugin and this addon is not required. As mentioned in my earlier reply also, that the different delivery settings can be set based on the shipping methods including the field labels.

          So, you can use the core plugin, in order to achieve your requirement where based on the selected shipping method, the settings from our plugin will be reflected on the checkout page.

          Regarding filtering the orders based on the Date selected for the shipping method: This requirement cannot be achieved from our plugin, a single column is added on the WooCommerce->Orders page which lists the Date selected for the order whether it is for Delivery or Pickup shipping method.

          And the addon can be used in the business where the customers want their customers to select both the Delivery and the Pickup Date simultaneously for the order example would be the rental business.

          2. Hi Gabriel, If you are asking for the option to have “Delivery” or “Pickup” on the checkout page, we’re going to add that in an upcoming update this year. Currently it functions the same way as mentioned above. So for now, you can have a custom delivery schedule for the “Local Pickup” shipping method & achieve your needs.
