Hello
I want to know about compatibility of this plugin with Booked by boxy studio please let me know Thanks!
Hi. I’d like to know if it’s possible for people to pay for each booked date on separate occasions? For example, a user books multiple dates/times, then pays for each booking individually before the appointment.
Thanks.

Hello,
I am in the process of developing a website with a WooCommerce store. We sell two types of products:
1. Portable bars; and,
2. Kegs of beer
Due to liquor licensing restrictions, we are unable to take payment for the liquor. This means that the portable bar needs to be paid for by PayPal or bank deposit at the time of booking, whilst the keg of beer needs to be paid for as cash on delivery (COD).
I require a WooCommerce plugin that adjusts the payment amount based on these two product types.
Presently, all products in the store are kegs of beer, whilst the portable bars are displayed as variations. This means that the cost is calculated as the cost of the keg (K$) + the cost of the portable bar (PB$).
The plugin that we require would need to adjust the total amount payable at the checkout to be the sum of PB$ (if there are more than one bar in the cart) and the sum of the K$ (if there are more than one keg in the cart) to be payable as COD.
Would this plugin support these requirements?
We look forward to hearing from you.
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Jake Leslie
HI Jake,
This Partial Deposits Add-on is an extension plugin for our Booking & Appointment plugin so it will work with the Booking & Appointment plugin only.
If you are selling these products and you don’t need the booking plugin I recommend you to take a look at the other Deposits Plugin for WooCommerce: https://www.tychesoftwares.com/store/premium-plugins/deposits-for-woocommerce/
The Deposits plugin for WooCommerce will work fine for you based on the requirement you mentioned. You can create a combined product for Portable Bars and Kegs of beer as you have right now and with the Deposits for WooCommerce plugin, you can split the payment in such a way that you charge for the Portable bar on the checkout and then for kegs of beer you an accept the payment manually at COD.
The order which will be generated in the backend will have details about the paid amount on checkout and also the remaining balance amount that you want to charge manually so you will be able to manage the payments.
Get in touch with us on the live chat from the bottom right corner of our website if you will have any other queries about this.
Hello! I am using YITH Booking and Appointment for my Woocommerce Store. My customer is required to pay a security deposit for the rental items. Is this plugin compatible?
Hi Nurfauzan,
Partial Deposits Addon is an addon for our Booking & Appointment Plugin for WooCommerce. It will not work with the YITH Booking and Appointment for Woocommerce plugin. This addon allows setting up the security deposits for the rental products. But it will work only with our Booking & Appointment Plugin for WooCommerce plugin.
Hello, I have a pre-sales question.
Is this plugin compatible with Woocommerce Moneris Gateway?
Also, just double checking to make sure I’m in the right place – I assume that when you say it’s an add-on for Woocommerce Booking and Appointments you mean Woocommerce Bookings (https://woocommerce.com/products/woocommerce-bookings/)?
Thank you!
Hi Laura,
Thank you for sharing the link.
No, the “Booking & Appointment plugin for WooCommerce” and “WooCommerce Bookings” are 2 different plugins. The Partial Deposits Addon will only work with our Booking & Appointment plugin for WooCommerce.
Currently, we have not tested our “Booking & Appointment plugin for WooCommerce” plugin compatibility with the “Woocommerce Moneris Gateway” plugin. As the plugin “Woocommerce Moneris Gateway” is a Payment Gateway, we do not interfere with the Payment Gateways as they are provided by the WooCommerce. Our plugin only shows the Booking fields on the Product page, Cart, Checkout, Order received page and email notifications.
Please let me know if you have questions regarding our plugins.
I want to know if i can use the partial deposit as a stand alone plugin for my woo commerce furniture platform, and also in the case the customer prefers to pay full amount as opposed to partial will there be an option at check out for the customer to either pay in full or the partial deposit calculated by the system in such situation.
Hi Kunle,
Our Partial Deposits Addon will only work with the Booking & Appointment Plugin for WooCommerce is installed. So the answer is no. You can not use Partial Deposits Addon as a stand alone plugin for your WooCommerce store.
But we do have plans to make it stand alone so one can use the Partial Deposits addon in their store.
If you want to use the Partial Deposits Addon with our Booking plugin to take partial payment then we have “Allow Full Payment when Booking” setting in our Partial Deposits Addon which will allow the customers to choose full payment or partial payment for Booking on the product page.

Please let me know if you have any questions.
I want booking rooms, tickets or anything for those busy people, they can take my order to payment at the front desk of hotel、cinema etc.
Regardless of their purchase quantity, I only charge one time website fee (customer fee).
The order is divided into two parts,
1 part,customer information、room price、checkin date、checkout date、days、Total price etc.(the payment has to at the front office (casher))
2 part,This website fee(or shipping fee, customer fee)need be payable immediately upon receipt of a the order
Attention: The hotel will not give me any commission.
So when I release my order, receive their customer fees.(just
only one)
Hi,
Thank you for sharing your business requirement with us.
What I understood is you are providing a facility of booking any hotel and/or cinema for the busy people and for that you are charging website/customer fees. Please let me know if I understood it well or not.
What I did not understand is the order is divided into the two parts. It would be great if you can elaborate it with a real life example then it will help me to understand your business requirements.
Thank you in advance for helping us to understand your requirements.

Hi,
Thank you for elaborating your business requirement with an example.
What I understood from your example is the product (Cinema tickets) price per quantity is 100 so the total price for 9 tickets is 900. You want to charge the website fee (Customer fee) which is 50 to your customers.
When the customer places an order for the Cinema tickets then he has to pay the website fee which is 50. And later on, the customer has to pay the total tickets price 900 at the front desk of the Cinema while taking the receipt of the Cinema ticket.
Please let me know I understood your business requirement correctly or not.
Hello, thank u for your help and your patience.
You can understand this thing.
I have an agreement with the cinema ticket office
They recognize the customer’s order from me, but the customer must pay in full for cash to buy a movie ticket.
Hi,
Thank you for your confirmation.
Well, in that case currently it is not possible to generate two invoices (one for the cinema ticket and one for your customer fees) for the order from our addon and also, it is not possible to achieve your business requirements like adding custom fees in the order total.
Please let me know if you have any further questions.
Thank for your reply ,again:)
Thank for your reply :)

Hi Kiko,
Partial Deposits is an addon of Booking & Appointment Plugin for WooCommerce. So it will work only if the Booking & Appointment plugin is installed on the website.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Hello I’m from Brazil and I’m really in need of using the Woo Deposits and Payment Recipes plugin,
Can your plugin only be used next to the booking / booking system? Or could I use this addon like any other plugin in my woocomerce?
Hugs
Kiko
I am using the bookings plugin and doing some testing. What i want is that when someone makes a booking for a product X which is £100 for 4 days i want the payment to apply the following rules…
If the booking date is > than 4 weeks then charge the user 20% as a deposit. Then when the we get to 4 weeks before the booking date I want to be able to send an email to the customer requesting the remainder of the payment.
Alternatively if the booking date is < then 4 week then charge the full amount.
Is this possible with the add on?
I will purchase and have a play around as the cyber week so want a good deal:)
Thanks
Hi Garvin,
We have an option “Only Full Payment within X days from today” in “Partial Payments” tab of the Booking meta box which allow charging the full payment to the customer till the no. of days you have set from today and after that partial deposit will be applied.
I have created a product “Test product” on our demo website. I have enabled the “Enable Partial Payment”option from “Partial Payments” tab and selected the Payment Type as “Percentage”and set value 20 in the Deposit. I have enabled the “Allow Full Payment when Booking” and set the value as 28(4 Weeks) in option “Only Full Payment within X days from today” in “Partial Payments” tab of the Booking meta box.

On the front end of the product, when the customer will choose their booking dates for the product greater than 4 weeks then the charge applies to the customer is $20 as a deposit. If the booking date is less than 4 weeks then it will charge the full payment.
> When the we get to 4 weeks before the booking date I want to be able to send an email to the customer requesting the remainder of the payment.
: The site admin has to manually generate a remainder amount invoice. The invoice of remaining amount will not be generated automatically before X numbers of days of booking. To generate invoice manually for remaining amount, we provide “Invoice Remaining Balance” button in the Edit Orders page.
Please see this screenshot: http://screencast.com/t/yPmQMtkuOYab
Clicking on this button will create a new order for the remaining payment and an E-mail of remaining amount will get sent to the customer. In that email, we provide “pay” link and by clicking on that link will redirect the customer to the payment process of the remaining amount.
Please see this screenshot: http://screencast.com/t/ArrACsHbSxJB
Also, we provide a pay button on Orders page of My Account page. Once the admin generated an invoice by clicking on “Invoice Remaining Balance”, a new order will be created. On this new order, there will be a Pay button so the customer can make the payment of the remaining amount from Orders page of their My Account page.

I would also like to know if this is possible?
It’s an important feature.
Hi Philip,
Yes, it is possible to achieve your business requirement with our Partial Deposits Addon.

You can refer the following post for the detailed explanation about our Partial Deposits Addon:

Please let me know if it meets your requirement or not and let me know if you have any questions.
Presales question, how is the remainder amount invoiced? Does a store owner have to manually generate an invoice or can you have the store generate an invoice X days before a booking for example? In any event, when the customer receives this invoice, how do they pay?
Hi Colin,
Yes, the site admin has to manually generate a remainder amount invoice. The invoice of remaning amount will not be generated automatically befor X numbers of days of booking.
Below I have mentioned a complete process of how a product can be setup with our Partial Deposit addon and how a site admin can manually create the invoice for remaining amount and how a customer can make the payment of that remaining amount.
I have created a sample product “Tours” on our demo website. I have enabled the “Enable Partial Payment”option from “Partial Payments” tab and I have selected the Payment Type as “Percentage”and set value 50 in the Deposit. This means a customer can make partial payment which will be 50% of the total booking amount. You can enable options as per your requirements.

Please visit the below link to see the admin end of the product:

On the front end of the product, when customer will choose their booking dates for the product, partial payment will be calculated as per the settings are enabled in Partial payment tab.
In the WooCommerce-> Orders page of that booking, there is a “Invoice Remaining Balance” button to generate the invoice for remaining amount of the booking.
Screenshot: http://screencast.com/t/yyoEa8ak
Clicking on this button will create a new order for the remaining payment and an E-mail of remaining amount will get sent to the customer. In that email, we provide “pay” link and by clicking on that link will redirect the customer to the payment process of the remaining amount.
Please see this screenshot: http://screencast.com/t/2ikqRkojD
Also, we provide a pay button on Orders page of My Account page. Once the admin generated an invoice by clicking on “Invoice Remaining Balance”, a new order will be created. On this new order there will be a Pay button so the customer can make the payment of the remaining amount from Orders page of their My Account page.

Please let me know if you have any questions.
Hi, got a question…is there a possibility to change the language to what ever I want? I mean if the plugin on a screen is in english and I want my customers read it in different language?
Thanks
Hi Michal,
Yes, it is possible to translate our plugin strings as per your requirements. You can use our plugin’s woocommerce-booking.po file to translate the plugin strings. This file is located in the below path.
Path: \ wp-content \ plugins \ woocommerce-booking \ languages \
Please follow the steps mentioned in the below post link to translate strings using .po file of our plugin.
Link: https://www.tychesoftwares.com/translate-booking-appointment-plugin-strings-using-po-file/
If you do not wish to use .po file of our plugin then you can use the WPML plugin for translating our plugin strings. Our plugin is compatible with WPML.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Hi Max,
Unfortunately it is not possible with our booking plugin and Partial Deposit Addon to set such scenario. At a time only one customer can make payment for one particular product.
Our booking or Partial Deposits Addon does not interfere with the payment. However, you can us Partial deposits Addon to accept the initial payment for the product (Tour in your case)
E.g If Wedding Tour cost is $1000, then you can set payment of “Wedding Tour” to be payable partially with the help of Partial Deposit Addon ( You can set Deposit amount to $100 ). So the customer have to pay only $100 at the time of booking. Later customer can collect remaining amount by CHEQUE which can be deposited in your Company account OFFLINE.
I think this is the only way possible with our booking plugin and Partial Deposit Addon to set such scenario.
Regards,
Kartik Parmar.
hi there,
i have a pre-sales question i hope that u can help me. My scenario is this.

– friend B pay 20$
– friend C pay 40$
