  1. Is it possible that when an order is cancelled, the delivery date and time becomes available for other customers? I didn’t see anything like that in the plugin settings and it is a very important feature that I need on my project.

    1. Hi Zik,

Yes, when the order is canceled the delivery date and time will be released for other customers to book.

If you have any further questions or need assistance with the plugin settings, feel free to reach out.

      1. I had earlier tested but I was surprised that thedate remained unavailable even after updating the order status to cancelled, Refunded and even Deleted the order log. The selected date was completely unavailable for new booking and that was why I asked. Please can you check again.

    1. Hi Roger,

Thank you for your inquiry. I’m pleased to inform you that our Order Delivery Date PRO plugin is compatible with the Dokan Multivendor plugin. Here, I’m sharing the documentation link for your reference: https://www.tychesoftwares.com/docs/docs/order-delivery-date-pro-for-woocommerce-new/integrations-tab/how-can-i-integrate-with-dokan-plugin/

If you have any further questions or need assistance with anything else, please feel free to reach out.

  2. Hi, I’m considering this plugin. However looking at the demo site, I cannot seem to get the estimated delivery date to show on the product pages on the front end. Is there something wrong with the demo? Because I would think that this would be one of the fundamental features. Thank you.

      1. Thanks for the reply. So you are saying I can’t do the following together?

        1. Show Delivery dates on product pages.
        2. Have a single delivery date be calculated per order based on each products delivery date. Be able to reorder the orders based on their delivery dates.

If that is the case that is very unfortunate.

        1. Hi Ryan, Yes I am afraid both the plugins are not integrated so right now there is no direct way to select a delivery date on the product pages and then have a single delivery date calculated per order based on each of the dates selected for individual products.
But in the Product Delivery Date Pro plugin there is an option to auto-populate the same delivery date selected on the first product you add to the cart to all the other products you visit so you can utilize that feature.

  3. Hi, One thing that would be useful is “Collection Date” – We use the delivery plugin for hire of goods, so it would be useful to have a set editable day range to apply a collection date to the order, like default 14 days if enabled, but it can be edited.
    Just an idea.

  4. Hi I have the free version.
This used to allow the delivery date to go on invoice and packing slip – but now I need it looks as if I will need the pro version. I am not sure when this happened(we have a seasonal product and it was def there last season)
This is the only feature we need from the pro version
Is there any way this can be included in the free version again?
    Thanks
    Amy

    1. Hi Amy,

Do you mean the delivery date is not getting displayed in the invoice? Which is the plugin you’re using for invoices? Can you send me that plugin link?

Also, our premium version of our plugin is compatible with many invoice and packing slip plugins.

      1. hi thanks for the reply
I altered the layout slightly and then the delivery date was there – I think there must have been an overlap with some other text.
        thank you
        Amy

    1. Hi Suheb,
We do have the API endpoints in the Pro version of the plugin but right now it can only be used to fetch the settings and data from the plugin. It can’t be used to add or update the settings/data.

  5. Hi there, is this possible to ask a customer to choose date and pickup time BEFORE making an order, somehow?
    Thank you

    1. Hi Alexandre, I am afraid the customer can select their preferred delivery date time while placing the order on the cart and checkout pages only.
But we do have a Delivery Date Availability Calendar widget that you can use anywhere on the website, the customers will be able to see the available delivery dates in this widget but they will not be able to select their preferred dates.

    1. Hi Shu-Chen,

I checked the delivery calendar in the LITE as well as PRO plugin and it’s working fine for me. Here is the screenshot of PRO plugin: https://prnt.sc/v23rr3
You can see in this screenshot where it’s working in LITE plugin too: https://prnt.sc/v23sx0

Can I know whether you are using our Order Delivery Date Pro plugin or LITE plugin on your site? Can you create the ticket here and send me the screenshot of the setup and checkout page? So that I can have a look at it.

  6. Hi! These are some pre-buy questions;

I’ve take a look at the PRO plugin features, and I was wondering if I could reach these functionality on my site:

    – Is it possible to set multiple delivery rules based on zip codes (so multiple shipping zone settled in WooCommerce settings)?
    – Is it possible to set delivery rules based on product shipping classes?

    – Do you offer customizations services? If yes, is it possible to create a kind of form that checks the shipping availability for that shipping zone and delivery day? I really need this feature to be in the site, not in the checkout page but in the product pages.

    I’ll wait for your reply,
    thanks!

    1. Hi Mattia,

Yes, you can set different delivery rules based on the zip codes. There is an option in the plugin to create custom delivery schedules based on the shipping zones that are limited to different zip codes.

And yes, you can set a custom delivery rule based on the shipping class too.

Yes, we do offer customization services for our plugins but what you want to do on the product page can be achieved by using the Delivery Date Availability Widget that we have in the plugin. You can read more about the widget here: https://www.tychesoftwares.com/docs/docs/order-delivery-date-pro-for-woocommerce/delivery-date-availability-calendar-widget-general-settings/

It will allow the customer to enter their zip code in the widget and based on that they will be shown the delivery availability.

If you still have any other queries about the plugin please write to us on mailto:support@tychesoftwares.freshdesk.com and we would love to help.

  7. Hi ..
One small query.. Will the system check real time and displays the next available delivery slots..? Example, when I check out at 3pm, will the delivery time option show the next delivery time after 3pm? We do online fish, chicken delivery and this point we need to get cleared.

    1. Hi Renjith,

Yes, the plugin will display only the timeslots which start after the current time. So, if you go to the checkout at 3 PM it will only display the timeslots that start after 3 PM. It will automatically hide the timeslots that have passed.

  8. Hi! I need to set up different lead time for each product (each SKU). Is it possible to set up this with the pro version? I usually do this kind of things massive by Csv.
    Thank you!

    1. Hi Matias,

Currently, it’s quite difficult from our Order Delivery Date plugin to set different cut off time for each product as the plugin works at the order level.

Our plugin has an option to schedule different delivery settings based on product categories. So, you can simply assign categories to those products and then create custom delivery settings based on categories where you can set different Minimum Delivery Time (Lead Time) as per your requirement.

However, you can check our Product Delivery Date PRO for WooCommerce plugin which works at the product level and it has the capability to set different lead preparation time for the individual products.

If you have any further questions, don’t hesitate to contact us again.

  9. Hi how to Limit the number of orders to be placed per day. I cannot find this even though your site says it’s possible on the free version

    1. Hi Ratna,

Yes, that’s possible in the free plugin version too for limiting the orders per day. You can set the lockout in “Maximum Order Deliveries per day (based on per order)” setting available under Order Delivery Date -> Date Settings page.

You can refer to this documentation for more understanding about this functionality: https://www.tychesoftwares.com/docs/docs/order-delivery-date-for-woocommerce-lite/setup-order-delivery-calendar/date-controls/

Do let me know if you have any further questions.

      Regards,
      Chetna Bhutka

  10. Hi there,
I’m wanting to know if you can limit the number of orders based on a PickUp location & date? Eg. I want to limit collections from each location to 20 per available date.

    1. Hi, Yes, you can limit orders by pickup locations. You can create custom delivery schedules for pickup locations & in that, you can set the max orders per date to your desired limit.

  11. Hello, For a bakery i need the possibility that there are standard lets say 20 items per day per product available and if a customer wants let’s say 40 items of the product they can order it in advance (for example, 4 delivery days later). Is that possible with the plugin.

    1. Hi Diederik,

We had a chat about this requirement yesterday that this feature is not available in our plugin right now.

  12. Hi, what happens if the 1 year is over? Can you just not update the plugin? Or does it completely stop working?
    Thanks!

    1. Hi Davy,

If you do not renew the license key after a year, the plugin will work fine. It simply stops updating. We won’t be able to provide any support or updates of the plugin unless the license is renewed.

  13. Hi –
I am in the process of converting a site from Opencart to WP/wooCommerce and like your plugin description. On question , if you have a report showing all orders on a delivery date , is it possible form the report to simply prin tout all the invoices for that delivery period from the report as weel as a printed rport showing the deliveries for a specific day to allow picking.

    1. Hi Dave, You can see the Delivery Date on the WooCommerce Orders page itself. You can view the deliveries for a specific day as well. The printing of invoices is not something that our plugin provides. But you can do that easily from the Orders page where the Delivery date is also shown.

      1. Thank you for the reply Vishal – With over 40 deliveries a day it would be good if you could just ‘press a button’ enter a delivery date and a schedule is printed and each invoice printed at the same time , not possible yet then ? Dave

  14. Hello – I’m looking at buying this plugin for my customer who has set up a fruit and veg delivery business. He needs to be able to allocate postcodes to certain days so that when they type in their delivery address they will be allocated say Tuesday and Thursday only. Is this possible with this plugin?

    1. Hey Deborah, Yes, with our plugin, you can create delivery schedules by postcodes (via shipping zones & shipping methods) such that for each postcode you can have different days available for delivery.

  15. I just want to check that we can use this so that the customer can specify a delivery day AND time within limited hours (e.g. 9:00 to 5:00)

Also, is it possible to limit how far in advance people can select for a delivery?

We would like to have same day and the next 48 hours.

    1. Hi Darren,

Yes, the customer can choose a delivery day & a time within the limited hours that you desire.

You can also limit how far in advance customers can select for a delivery date. If you need 72 hours (same day + 48 hours), you enter the “Number of dates to choose” as 3, which means at any time, customers only have 3 days (including current day) to choose from.

  16. Guys, does the pro facility allow “Set Maximum Deliveries per day by Orders or Product Quantity” to apply to specified product categories only (i.e. we have fresh cooked Soups, Sauces and Mains – which we want to limit to our daily kitchen capacity of 150 items overall – and Desserts and Essentials which do not need to be limited). Please let me know if Delivery Date for WooCommerce plugin can handle, thank you…

    1. Hi Richard, It is not possible to allow “Set Maximum Deliveries per day by Orders or Product Quantity” to apply based on specific product categories. That will apply across all categories & shipping methods. We may need to do this in the form of a custom feature which is chargeable.

      1. Hi Vishal, that’s great. I think we’ll go ahead and take the Pro version off the shelf product anyway. Out of interest, can you give me an idea of the cost of drafting the custom feature, and how long it would take to deliver please?

        Best regards,
        Richard

        1. Hey Richard, Sure, I will get back to you on the costing & estimate of the custom feature tomorrow once I hear from my team. I hope that’s fine.

          Stay safe.

          1. Loving the plugin. All set up and running.

Just one thing I can’t fathom, can you help me please…

We have two delivery days – Wednesday and Saturday. Cut off time for orders is 10pm Sunday for Wednesday delivery. And 10pm Wednesday for Saturday deliveries.

So, I tried setting 50 hours as the minimum time in General >> Date settings, thinking that would count back 50 hours from each delivery day – but that pushed next available delivery dates out by an extra week.

And then I tried setting minimum delivery periods per ordering day in Weekday Setting, thinking they would count forward to the next available delivery day (i.e. Sun 50 hours, Mon 96 hours, Tue 72 hours, Wed 50 hours, Thur 120 hours, Fri 96 hours and Sat 72 hours) but that pushed out next available slot by two weeks!

I guess I’m not understanding the logic properly. Kindly advise…

          2. Hi Richard, I know this is 6 months old, but I had the same problem and thought I’d post the solution in case anyone has it. You need to tick the box ‘Apply Minimum Delivery Time for non working weekdays:’ and it will solve the issue 🙂

          3. Hi Craig,

Thank you for sharing the solution here.

Richard McCandless was using our PRO plugin version and we advised him through support email address for adding business days to solve that problem.

And yes, the LITE plugin has the ‘ Apply Minimum Delivery Time for non working weekdays:’ to apply cut off time on non-working weekdays too. This thread will definitely help to our other clients. Thank you.
